    From Penal-Debe, head north on the SS Erin Road (also known as the Southern Main Road) towards San Fernando. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Solomon Hochoy Highway. Merge onto the highway heading north. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Chaguanas/Longdenville. Continue on the highway until you reach the exit for the North Coast Road (also known as the Maracas Road). Follow the North Coast Road for about 25 kilometers until you arrive at Maracas Lookout. Look for the signs as you approach the lookout.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Maracas Lookout via public transport, start by taking a taxi or a 'maxi taxi' (shared van) from Penal-Debe to San Fernando. From San Fernando, catch a maxi taxi heading to Port of Spain. Once in Port of Spain, switch to a maxi taxi that goes to Maracas Bay. This will take you to the nearest point to Maracas Lookout. From there, you will need to either walk (approximately 30 minutes uphill) or take a local taxi to reach the lookout. Ensure you confirm with the taxi driver that they will take you to the lookout, as not all may be familiar with the location.
