Start your journey from the center of Point Fortin, specifically at the Point Fortin Market. Exit the market area and head towards the main road, which is the South Trinidad Highway (also known as the SS Erin Road). Walk along this road heading north until you reach the intersection with Fond Pois Doux Road. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Once you reach the intersection, turn right onto Fond Pois Doux Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. The road will lead you up a gradual hill. As you ascend, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding area. Keep an eye out for local landmarks like the small roadside stalls and houses. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at La Vigie Paramin Lookout, which will be on your left. The lookout offers stunning views and is a great place to relax.

From the Point Fortin Market, take a local bus heading to San Fernando. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Fond Pois Doux Road. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to Fond Pois Doux Road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the lookout. Head north on Fond Pois Doux Road, and you will see signs directing you to La Vigie Paramin Lookout. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will be able to enjoy the local scenery along the way.
