If you are driving, head towards Plymouth on the main road. From Scarborough, take the Claude Noel Highway (Main Road) south. Continue straight until you reach the junction for Shelbourne Street. Turn right onto Shelbourne Street and follow it until you see Fort James on your left. Look for the coordinates 66C9+5WH to ensure you are at the correct location. Parking may be available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Fort James using public transportation, look for a bus heading towards Plymouth from Scarborough. You can catch a bus at the Scarborough bus terminal. Tell the driver you are going to Fort James or ask them to drop you off at the closest stop to Shelbourne Street. Once you get off, walk down Shelbourne Street for approximately 5-10 minutes, and Fort James will be on your left. Ensure you have small bills to pay the bus fare, which is typically around TT$3-5.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can negotiate a fare with a taxi driver in Scarborough to take you directly to Fort James.
