Getting There

  • Car

    Start in Tunapuna-Piarco. Head west on the Eastern Main Road toward the Priority Bus Route. Continue onto the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (Highway 2) and follow the signs for North Coast Road. Once you reach the North Coast Road, continue to drive along this scenic route. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Public Entrance to Yarra Beach, located on the left side of North Coast Road. There is no cost for parking near the entrance.

    From Tunapuna-Piarco, you can take a taxi or a maxi taxi to Port of Spain. Once in Port of Spain, transfer to a bus heading to North Coast Road. Look for buses that specifically mention Maracas Bay as they will pass by Yarra Beach. The bus fare is approximately TTD 5-10. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when to disembark. After getting off, walk a short distance to the Public Entrance to Yarra Beach. Ensure to check the bus schedules to plan your return trip.
