Getting There

Walking

From the Ulus Square (Ulus Meydanı), head towards the direction of the historical Atatürk Museum. Walk straight on the main road, passing by various shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the intersection at the junction of İstiklal and Anadolu Avenues. Turn right onto Anadolu Avenue and keep walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will see the entrance to Ankara Castle on your left, marked with signs. The castle is located at Kale, 06240 Altındağ/Ankara.
Public Transport (Bus)

From Ulus, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near Ulus Metro Station. Take bus number 220 or 231 towards Altındağ. The bus will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the ‘Kale’ bus stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of Ankara Castle. Follow the signs leading up to the castle.
Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply hail a taxi from anywhere in Ulus or ask a local to help you find one. The drive to Ankara Castle will take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 15-25 TL for the ride, depending on the time of day and traffic conditions. Make sure to inform the driver you want to go to 'Ankara Kalesi.'
