Car
If you are traveling by car, head to the town of Kâhta, which is approximately 25 kilometers north of Adıyaman. From Kâhta, take the D300 highway towards Bağözü. Once you reach Bağözü, look for 4025. Sk. (Street) and turn onto it. You will find Karakuş Tumulus on your left side. There is free parking available near the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Karakuş Tumulus using public transportation, first take a bus from Adıyaman to Kâhta. The buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Kâhta, you can catch a minibus (dolmuş) heading towards Bağözü. Inform the driver that you are heading to Karakuş Tumulus, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the site. The tumulus is a short walk from where the minibus stops.

If you are already in Bağözü, you can walk to Karakuş Tumulus. From the center of Bağözü, head east on 4025. Sk. The site is located at 4025. Sk. No:17, just a short 15-minute walk away. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
