From the center of Ephesus, head east on the main road, which is called Atatürk Caddesi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the D515 highway. Turn left and follow the road for about 8 kilometers. You will pass through the village of Selçuk. Maintain your course until you reach Germencik. As you approach Germencik, look for signs indicating the direction to Magnesia ad Maeandrum. The ruins are located in Tekin, just a few minutes' walk from the main road.

From Ephesus, make your way to the Selçuk bus station. Take a local bus heading towards Germencik. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Germencik, you can ask locals for directions to Magnesia ad Maeandrum, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow the signs or ask for 'Tekin' to ensure you are on the right path.

If you have rented a bicycle in Ephesus, start from the center and head east along Atatürk Caddesi. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the D515 highway. When you reach the highway, turn left and cycle for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Germencik. Once in Germencik, you will need to park your bicycle and walk to Magnesia ad Maeandrum, which is roughly a 15-minute walk from the town center.
