Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Göreme, head southeast towards the main road (Aydın Kırağı Street). Turn left onto the main road and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Avanos. Here, you will see signs for Kızılvadi. Continue straight for another 15 minutes, enjoying the scenic views, until you reach the entrance of Kızılvadi.

    Alternatively, if you are near Göreme Open Air Museum, exit the museum and turn left. Follow the pathway that leads down towards the valley. After about 20 minutes, you will find yourself in Kızılvadi, surrounded by its stunning rock formations and unique landscape.

  • Local Transport (Dolmuş)

    From the center of Göreme, walk to the main bus station (which is near the town center). Take a dolmuş (shared minibus) heading towards Avanos. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Kızılvadi. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs towards the entrance of Kızılvadi.
