If you are staying in the town of Avanos, you can begin your journey to Direkli Kilise (Kolonlu) by walking towards the Avanos Bus Station. From there, head southwest on Atatürk Boulevard until you reach the intersection. Take a left onto Çavuşin Road (Çavuşin Yolu) and continue straight for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through scenic vineyards and countryside. Once you reach the village of Çavuşin, follow the signs for Direkli Kilise, which will be located on your right. The church is situated within a short walking distance from the village center.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Göreme, take a local bus heading to Avanos. The buses are frequent and cost-effective. Once you arrive in Avanos, disembark at the central bus station. Then, take a minibus or dolmuş to Çavuşin. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. After arriving in Çavuşin, navigate towards the center of the village, where you will find signs directing you to Direkli Kilise (Kolonlu). It's a short 10-minute walk from the village center to the church.
