Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near a Metro station, take the M2 line towards Yenikapı and get off at the Vezneciler station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Taksim Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. From there, turn right onto the main road and continue walking until you see the Beyazıt Square. The Grand Bazaar is located just a short walk from the square.

  • Tram

    If you are near a tram station, take the T1 line towards Bağcılar. Get off at the Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı stop. Once you exit the tram, you will find yourself at the entrance to the Grand Bazaar. Just follow the signs and crowds to enter the bazaar.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Sultanahmet area, you can easily walk to the Grand Bazaar. Start at the Sultanahmet Square and head north towards the tram tracks. Walk along the tram tracks until you reach the Beyazıt Square. The Grand Bazaar is just a short walk from the square. Look for the large, arched entrance which will lead you into the bazaar.

    You can take a bus to Beyazıt. Look for buses heading towards Beyazıt or the Grand Bazaar. Get off at the Beyazıt stop. Once you get off, you will see the entrance to the Grand Bazaar a short distance away. Just follow the signs to the bazaar.
