If you're driving from Ashgabat, take the M37 highway towards Mary. After approximately 150 km, take the exit onto Merv. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach a junction. Follow the signs towards Merv, then proceed 5 km towards the Soltan Sanjar Mausoleum. It will be located on your right side. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations may be sparse.

From Ashgabat, you can catch a bus or shared taxi heading to Mary. These usually depart from the main bus station, and the journey takes around 3-4 hours. Once in Mary, take a local taxi to the Soltan Sanjar Mausoleum, which is approximately 30 km away. Agree on the fare beforehand; it should be around 20-30 TMT.
