If you are driving from Mary city, head west on the A-1 highway towards Merv. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Merv. Follow the signs to Merv, which will lead you onto the M-37 road. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Merv. Once in Merv, look for the signs pointing towards Great Kyz Kala, which is located approximately 5 kilometers northeast of the Merv archaeological site. You will find the site marked as 'M543+22J' in your navigation.

From the Mary bus station, take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Merv. The journey should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Merv, you can either walk to Great Kyz Kala, which is about 5 kilometers away, or hire a local taxi for a short ride. Make sure to agree on a fare with the taxi driver before starting your trip. The final stop for the taxi should be the area around 'M543+22J' where Great Kyz Kala is located.
