History of Middle Caicos

Long before European settlers arrived, the Lucayan people inhabited the islands of Middle Caicos. Their presence is evidenced by archaeological finds such as ceremonial artifacts and remnants of settlements. The Lucayans were known for their sophisticated seafaring skills and complex social structures.
