    Getting There

    Car

    From Bukedi, head towards the town of Mbale. Take the A4 highway northwest towards Kampala. Continue on A4 until you reach the junction with the A-1 road. Follow the A-1 road north towards Gulu. After driving approximately 250 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Murchison Falls National Park. The entrance to the park is located near the town of Masindi. The total driving time is approximately 5-6 hours depending on traffic conditions. Note that there is an entry fee to the park, which is around UGX 40,000 per person.

    Public Transportation

    To travel by public transport, first, find a 'matatu' (shared taxi) or bus from Bukedi to Mbale. Once you arrive in Mbale, catch a bus heading to Kampala. Upon reaching Kampala, transfer to a bus going to Gulu. After arriving in Gulu, you can find buses or shared taxis that go to Masindi. Once in Masindi, you will need to hire a taxi or arrange for a tour service to Murchison Falls National Park.
