From Fort Portal town center, head northeast on the main road toward the junction with the Bundibugyo road. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Semuliki National Park. The route is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable ride. Ensure to carry water and snacks, as there are limited stops along the way.

Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
Find a motorcycle taxi (Boda Boda) in Fort Portal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Semuliki National Park. They will take you directly to the park entrance, which is approximately a 30-minute ride depending on traffic. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey. It's advisable to wear a helmet for safety.

Public Transport (Matatu/Minibus)
Head to the Fort Portal bus park and look for a Matatu heading towards Bundibugyo. Once you board, inform the conductor that you want to stop at Semuliki National Park. The journey takes about an hour. After reaching the closest point to the park, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi to the park entrance, which is just a few kilometers away.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from Fort Portal town center and head towards the Bundibugyo road. Follow the main road for approximately 15 kilometers. It is a scenic route, but be prepared for a long walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized.
