Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Jinja. Head northeast on Main Street towards the Jinja-Budondo Road. Continue straight for about 2 km, passing through the vibrant Jinja market area. You will see signs directing you towards the Source of the Nile. After about 2 km, take a left turn onto Jinja-Budondo Road. Follow this road for approximately 5 km until you reach BP Campsite-Buwenda, which will be on your right side. There is parking available on site.

Public Transport (Taxi/Boda Boda)
To reach BP Campsite-Buwenda using public transport, head to the nearest taxi park in Jinja. Look for a taxi heading towards Budondo or any taxis that go along Jinja-Budondo Road. The fare should be around 2,000-3,000 UGX. Inform the conductor that you are going to BP Campsite-Buwenda. After about 20-30 minutes, request to be dropped off at the campsite. If you prefer a boda boda, you can negotiate the fare, which will typically range from 5,000-10,000 UGX depending on your starting point.

If you are staying close to the center of Jinja and prefer to walk, head towards Jinja-Budondo Road by walking northeast on Main Street. Continue for about 2 km until you reach the junction with Jinja-Budondo Road. Turn left onto Jinja-Budondo Road and walk for approximately 5 km. Keep an eye out for signs indicating BP Campsite-Buwenda, which will be on your right. This walk will take you through scenic local neighborhoods and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
