Walking
From Jinja town center, head east on Main Street towards the Nile River. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the Jinja Bridge. Cross the bridge and take the first right onto Nile Avenue. Follow Nile Avenue for about 500 meters until you see the sign for the Source of the Nile Viewpoint on your left.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jinja. Start from the town center and take Main Street heading east. After about 1 km, you will reach the Jinja Bridge. Cross the bridge, then take a right onto Nile Avenue. Continue along Nile Avenue for approximately 500 meters, then look out for the Source of the Nile Viewpoint sign on your left.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
Find a boda boda stand in Jinja town center. Tell the driver you want to go to the Source of the Nile Viewpoint. The ride should take about 10 minutes. The driver will take you across the Jinja Bridge and then turn right onto Nile Avenue. You will arrive directly at the viewpoint.
Tuk Tuk
Locate a tuk tuk in Jinja town, which can usually be found near the main market or taxi park. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Source of the Nile Viewpoint. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. The tuk tuk will navigate through the town and cross the Jinja Bridge, then turn right onto Nile Avenue to reach your destination.
