  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the center of Jinja. Head southeast on Main Street towards Nile Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout near the Nile Bridge. Take the second exit to stay on the A-109 road. After approximately 1 km, turn right onto Cliff Road. Continue for about 500 meters, and you will find Boat Ride Uganda at Cliff Rd, 256 on your right. There is parking available near the location.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    To reach Boat Ride Uganda using public transport, locate a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards the Nile Bridge or the Jinja Bus Park. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Nile Bridge. From there, walk towards the A-109 road. Once you reach the roundabout, head right towards Cliff Road. Walk along Cliff Road for about 500 meters, and you will see Boat Ride Uganda at Cliff Rd, 256. Make sure to have some Ugandan Shillings (UGX) on hand, as the matatu fare typically ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 UGX depending on your starting point.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jinja. Start at the Jinja town center and cycle along Main Street heading southeast. Follow the same route as the car directions, passing through the A-109 road and turning onto Cliff Road. It should take approximately 15-20 minutes to reach Boat Ride Uganda. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

    For those who wish to walk, begin at Jinja town center. Head southeast on Main Street, then turn onto Nile Avenue towards the Nile Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A-109 road. Walk for about 1 km until you reach Cliff Road, then turn right. Boat Ride Uganda will be about 500 meters down Cliff Road on your right. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
