Getting There

  • Boda Boda

    If you are in the central area of Kampala, you can easily find a boda boda (motorcycle taxi). Simply approach any boda boda stage, which are commonly found at major intersections and near shopping centers. Inform the rider that you want to go to Maridadi Arts located at Plot 8 Kintu Road. The journey typically takes about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure that you wear a helmet and agree on the fare before starting your journey.

  • Walking

    If you are close to the Kampala City Centre, you can walk to Maridadi Arts. Start from the Uganda Museum located on Kiira Road. Walk west towards the junction with Kintu Road. Turn left onto Kintu Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. Maridadi Arts will be on your right at Plot 8. Look for a sign indicating the art gallery.

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    From the city center, you can take a matatu (shared minibus). Head to the matatu stage near the Old Taxi Park and board a matatu going to Nsambya or Kamwokya. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Kintu Road. Once you reach Kintu Road, you can walk for about 5 minutes to Plot 8 where Maridadi Arts is located, or take a boda boda from the matatu drop-off point.
