Car
If you are driving from Jinja, take the Jinja-Kampala road (A-4) heading towards Kampala. After about 80 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Kampala. Continue driving towards the city center and follow signs for Kampala Road. Thorns Adventure Safaris Africa is located on Kampala Road in the Kampala Central Division. Look for the landmark near the main junction; it is approximately 2 kilometers from the central business district.

Public Transportation - Matatus
From Jinja, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Kampala. Matatus often leave from the Jinja bus terminal. The ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Kampala, you can either walk or take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to Thorns Adventure Safaris Africa on Kampala Road. It's roughly a 10-minute ride or a 25-minute walk from the terminal.

Public Transportation - Buses
Buses from various parts of Eastern Uganda, including Mbale and Tororo, frequently travel to Kampala. Look for buses that stop at the Kampala bus park. After arriving, use a boda boda or a taxi to get to Thorns Adventure Safaris Africa on Kampala Road. The taxi ride will take around 15 minutes depending on traffic.
