Bicycle
If you are in central Kampala, start at the Kampala Railway Station. Head northeast on Jinja Road towards the City Square. After about 1 km, turn right onto Kira Road. Continue on Kira Road for about 4 km until you reach the Kira Town roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Naalya-Namugongo Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 km, and you will see the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine Basilica on your right.

Starting from the Kampala City Centre, walk towards the Old Taxi Park. From there, take a taxi to Kira Town. Once you arrive in Kira, walk towards the Kira Town roundabout. From the roundabout, head southwest on Naalya-Namugongo Road. You will walk approximately 1.5 km, and the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine Basilica will be on your left.

From the central part of Kampala, head to the nearest matatu stage. Look for a matatu heading to Kira or Namugongo. Once you board, inform the driver you want to go to Namugongo.
