Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Naguru, head towards the main road, Jinja Road (the main arterial road). If you're near the Naguru Hospital, walk towards the main entrance of the hospital and exit onto Jinja Road. Once you reach Jinja Road, turn left and continue walking for about 1 km. You'll see the sign for Nabankema Hill on your right. Follow the road up, which will lead you directly to the hill.

  • Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

    If you prefer a quicker route, you can hire a Boda Boda. Find a nearby Boda Boda stage, which are common around Naguru. Inform the driver you want to go to Nabankema Hill. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic and will cost you around 2,000 to 5,000 UGX. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.

  • Public Taxi

    You can also take a public taxi from one of the taxi parks in Naguru. Look for a taxi heading towards Kawempe or Bukoto. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the closest point to Nabankema Hill. The fare is usually between 1,000 and 2,000 UGX. Once you get off, you may need to walk for about 15 minutes towards the hill, following local signs or asking for directions.
