Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Moroto, the largest town in Karamoja. Head north on the Moroto-Nakapiripirit Road (A9) for about 40 kilometers. You will pass through several picturesque rural landscapes. After reaching the junction at Nakapiripirit, take the road heading towards the east, following signs for the Morungole area. Continue for another 20 kilometers, where you will find a small signpost indicating Mount Morungole. Park your vehicle at the designated area. Note that the road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

For those using public transport, begin at Moroto town and take a shared taxi or matatu heading towards Nakapiripirit. The fare is usually around 5,000 UGX. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the junction for Mount Morungole. Once you reach the junction, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for about 10,000 UGX to take you closer to the mountain or walk the remaining 20 kilometers along the dirt road, enjoying the local scenery along the way.
