Car
If you are driving from Kibale National Park, start by heading south towards Fort Portal. Follow the main road (A109) for about 30 kilometers. As you approach Fort Portal, look for signs directing you to Njara Road. Turn right onto Njara Road, and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. The Tooro Botanical Gardens will be on your left at Plot 2 - 8 Njara Road. Ensure to check for parking availability upon arrival.

Public Transportation
To reach Tooro Botanical Gardens using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kibale National Park to Fort Portal. The journey typically takes around 30-45 minutes and costs approximately 5,000 UGX. Once you arrive at the Fort Portal taxi park, you can either walk or hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Tooro Botanical Gardens. The boda boda ride should cost around 3,000-5,000 UGX and will take about 10 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to Plot 2 - 8 Njara Road.
