Car
From any location in Lake Bunyonyi, head south towards the main road that connects to Kabale. Follow the signs for Kabale until you reach the intersection at the main road. Take a right turn onto the road leading to Kisoro. Continue on this road for approximately 25 km until you reach the town of Bukimbiri. From Bukimbiri, follow the signs to Lake Mutanda. The destination, Danau Mutanda, is located at the coordinates QMRH+QHR, Lake Mutanda, Bukimbiri. Please note that you may need to pay a small parking fee upon arrival.

Public Transportation (Matatu)
If you prefer public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Lake Bunyonyi to Kabale. The fare should be around 3,000 UGX. Once in Kabale, transfer to another matatu heading to Kisoro. After reaching Kisoro, you can catch a local taxi or boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to Bukimbiri. The total fare for these segments should be approximately 10,000 UGX. Upon reaching Bukimbiri, ask for directions to Lake Mutanda. Danau Mutanda is located at QMRH+QHR, Lake Mutanda, Bukimbiri.

Boda-Boda
For a more adventurous route, consider taking a boda-boda from Lake Bunyonyi directly to Lake Mutanda. This will require negotiating a fare with the boda-boda driver, which might range from 15,000 to 30,000 UGX depending on the distance and your bargaining skills. The driver will take you through scenic routes leading to Bukimbiri and directly to Danau Mutanda, located at QMRH+QHR, Lake Mutanda, Bukimbiri.
