Car
If you are driving from the main entrance of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Ntebeko), head south on the main road towards Kisoro. Continue on this road for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction for Lake Mutanda. Turn left at the junction and follow the road towards Lake Mutanda. The road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. After about 5 km, you will see signs for Mutanda Eco Community Centre. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the centre located on the shores of Lake Mutanda.

Public Transportation
From any lodge within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you can arrange for a taxi or a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Kisoro town. The cost for a boda-boda ride is approximately 15,000 to 30,000 UGX depending on the distance. Once in Kisoro, you can take a local taxi or a shared minibus to Lake Mutanda. The fare for this ride is around 10,000 UGX. The minibus will drop you off at the nearest point to the Mutanda Eco Community Centre, from where you can walk or arrange for a local boda-boda to take you to the centre.
