If you are traveling by car, rent a vehicle from a reputable company in Lango. Start your journey from the center of Lira city. Head south on the Gulu-Lira Highway (A1) for about 30 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you towards Aruu Falls, which will be off an unnamed road. The GPS coordinates for your destination are approximately 2.8964° N, 32.6487° E. Follow the signs for Aruu Falls as you near the area. Upon entering the unnamed road, drive carefully as it may be unpaved and bumpy.

Public Transportation
To reach Aruu Falls via public transport, take a taxi (shared minivan) from Lira city heading towards Gulu. Make sure to inform the driver you want to be dropped at the junction leading to Aruu Falls. The fare is typically around 10,000 UGX ($3). Once you arrive at the junction, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) for about 5,000-10,000 UGX ($1.50-$3) to get to the falls. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The boda boda riders are usually familiar with the area and can guide you.
