The monument is situated off the main road, so be prepared for a short drive down a dirt road.

    To reach the Eclipse Monument using public transportation, start from Lira town and take a taxi (shared minibus) heading towards Gulu. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Kwania District junction, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. After reaching the junction, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to the Eclipse Monument, or walk the remaining 5 kilometers. Expect to pay around 10,000 UGX for the taxi fare and about 5,000 UGX for the boda-boda.
