If you are driving, start from the center of Lira town. Head south on the Lira - Gulu highway (A1). Keep driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction to the Kwania District. Take a left turn at this junction and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the Eclipse Monument, which is located at coordinates -0.525955, 30.7395614. The monument is situated off the main road, so be prepared for a short drive down a dirt road.

To reach the Eclipse Monument using public transportation, start from Lira town and take a taxi (shared minibus) heading towards Gulu. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Kwania District junction, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. After reaching the junction, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you to the Eclipse Monument, or walk the remaining 5 kilometers. Expect to pay around 10,000 UGX for the taxi fare and about 5,000 UGX for the boda-boda.
