Car
If you are traveling by car, head to the nearest major town in Lango, such as Lira. From Lira, take the Gulu-Lira Road (A1) and drive south for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the turnoff at the sign for W933+CWM. Follow the unpaved road for about 5 kilometers. The destination, TYEN OLUM, will be on your right. Ensure to have a GPS or a reliable map as some roads may not be well-marked.
Public Transportation
To reach TYEN OLUM via public transport, first, take a taxi or a 'boda boda' (motorcycle taxi) from your location in Lira to the Lira taxi park. From there, board a taxi heading towards Gulu, but inform the driver that you want to stop at W933+CWM. This leg of the journey will cost around 5,000 UGX. Once you reach the turnoff, you may need to hire a local boda boda to take you the last 5 kilometers to TYEN OLUM, which will cost about 10,000 UGX.
