If you are starting from the Lira Central Market, head south towards Market Street. Continue straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the junction with Obote Avenue. Turn left onto Obote Avenue and walk straight for about 700 meters. You will pass several shops and local eateries. When you reach the roundabout, continue straight, and you will see Independence Monument on your right side after another 300 meters.

Starting from the Lira Main Post Office, head north on the main road for about 1 kilometer. Turn right onto Obote Avenue and ride straight for approximately 800 meters. You will pass the Lira Regional Referral Hospital on your left. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the exit towards Independence Monument, which will be on your left after approximately 200 meters.
