Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mbale, head towards the Mbale Bus Park. Once you reach the park, look for the sign for Buligenyi or Sisiyi Falls. Take the path leading to the main road, which is called the Mbale - Sironko road. Walk along this road for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach a junction. At this junction, turn left onto the road leading towards Buligenyi. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you see a sign for Sisiyi Falls on your right. Follow the path from the sign to the falls, which should take about 15 minutes.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mbale. Start at the Mbale Bus Park and cycle towards the Mbale - Sironko road. Follow the same route as described for walking, cycling along the main road for about 4 kilometers, then left at the junction onto the road to Buligenyi. Continue for another 2 kilometers and look for the Sisiyi Falls sign on your right. Park your bicycle before following the path to the falls.

Local Transport (Boda Boda)
To take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi), find a boda boda stand near the Mbale Bus Park. Ask the rider to take you to Sisiyi Falls or Buligenyi. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The rider will drop you off at the junction of the Mbale - Sironko road and the road to Buligenyi. From there, follow the walking directions previously mentioned to reach the falls.
