Car
From the main park entrance of Mount Elgon National Park, drive towards Budadiri. Continue along the road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction at Budadiri. Take a left turn towards the direction of Tabagonyi. After about 10 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the direction to Donas Kisolo Caves. Follow this road, which may not be perfectly paved, for about 5 kilometers. The caves are located near the coordinates F9HG+X54, Tabagonyi, which you can use in your GPS for precise navigation.

Public Transportation
From Mbale town, take a taxi or a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Budadiri. The fare is approximately 3,000 UGX. Once you reach Budadiri, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you to Tabagonyi. The fare for the boda boda is around 5,000 to 10,000 UGX depending on negotiation. Make sure to ask the rider to take you to Donas Kisolo Caves, and you can navigate using the coordinates F9HG+X54.

If you are already near Tabagonyi, you can walk to the Donas Kisolo Caves. Start at the center of Tabagonyi and head towards the main road leading out of the village. Follow the signs to the caves or ask locals for directions using the coordinates F9HG+X54 as reference points. The walk may take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.
