Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Soroti town. Head southeast on Main Street until you reach the junction with Old Mbale Road. Turn left onto Old Mbale Road and continue for about 1 km. The museum will be on your right at PJ47+X4G. Look for the sign for Soroti Museum.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a local 'matatu' (shared taxi) from the main taxi park in Soroti. Look for a matatu heading towards Mbale or the nearby villages. Inform the driver you wish to stop at Soroti Museum on Old Mbale Road. The fare should be around 1,000 UGX, and the journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the museum, the driver will drop you off at the nearest point.
Walking
If you're already in close proximity to the museum and prefer walking, from the center of Soroti town, walk southeast on Main Street until you reach Old Mbale Road. Turn left and continue walking for about 1 km. The Soroti Museum will be on your right side. It's a pleasant walk that allows you to see local life.
