The journey should take around 5 to 6 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure your vehicle is fueled up and in good condition, as there are long stretches without many services.

To reach Lake Victoria using public transportation, first, go to the Arua bus station and board a bus heading to Kampala. The trip should take about 6 to 8 hours, depending on traffic. Buses typically leave every hour, but it's wise to check the schedule in advance. Once in Kampala, you can take a taxi or a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to Jinja.
