Getting There

• By Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Yaremche, which is a common base for tourists visiting Hoverla Mountain. From Yaremche, take the H-09 road heading west toward Vorokhta. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach Vorokhta. Continue along the H-09 road for another 5 kilometers until you see signs for Gora Shpytsi. Follow the signs, and you will find a parking area near the trailhead. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 50 UAH.

• By Public Transportation

  To reach Гора Шпицi using public transport, take a train or bus from Ivano-Frankivsk to Yaremche. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, costing around 50-100 UAH depending on the service. Upon arriving in Yaremche, you can catch a local bus heading to Vorokhta. This bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Vorokhta, disembark at the designated stop. From there, follow the signs to Гора Шпицi, which is about a 4-kilometer hike from the bus stop. Be prepared for some uneven terrain.

• Hiking from Vorokhta

  If you prefer to hike to Гора Шпицi from Vorokhta, after disembarking from the bus, head towards the trail that leads into the forest. The hike is approximately 4 kilometers and can take around 1.5 hours. The trail is well-marked, but ensure you have proper hiking shoes and carry enough water. The terrain can be steep in places, and you may encounter varied weather conditions, so dress accordingly.
