Start your journey at the nearest metro station - Arsenalna (Арсенальна) on the blue line (Line 3). From there, take the metro in the direction of the station 'Heroiv Dnipra' and travel for just one stop. Get off at the next station, which is 'Pecherska' (Печерська). Once you exit the station, you'll find Lavrska Street (вулиця Лаврська) nearby.

From the 'Pecherska' metro station, exit and head southwest towards Lavrska Street. Walk down Lavrska Street for about 800 meters. You will pass by the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (Kyiv Monastery of the Caves) on your left, which is a beautiful historical site worth a visit. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, located at Lavrska St, 27.

Bus
If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch Bus No. 24 or No. 116 from the 'Pecherska' metro station. Board the bus and travel for 3 stops. Get off at 'Pechersk Lavra' bus stop. From there, it’s a short walk of about 200 meters to the museum. Just head back towards Lavrska Street and you will see the museum entrance.

Alternatively, you can take tram No. 14 from 'Pecherska' metro station. Board the tram and ride for 4 stops. Get off at 'Svyatoshynskaya Street' stop. After exiting, head south on Svyatoshynskaya Street until you reach Lavrska Street. Turn left onto Lavrska Street and walk for about 300 meters until you arrive at the museum.
