Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Pechersk neighborhood, the Ukrainian Motherland Monument is within walking distance. Head towards Lavrska Street. If you are near the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (Caves Monastery), you can start from there. Walk east on Lavrska Street for about 800 meters. You will see the monument on your left side, standing tall above the park area. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    If you prefer to use public transport, you can take bus 24 or 55 from any nearby bus stop. Make sure you are heading towards the 'Pechersk' district. Get off at the stop 'Pivdennyy' (Southern) and then walk about 300 meters east along Lavrska Street. The monument will be on your right. Be sure to have some change on you for the bus fare, which is usually around 8 UAH.
