If you are traveling by car, start from Aberdeen city center. Take the A90 road heading northbound. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit toward Balmedie. Follow the signs for Balmedie Beach. You will arrive at the beach parking area located at the end of the road. There is a parking fee of approximately £2 for the day, which you can pay at the machine on site.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Stagecoach bus number 59 from Aberdeen city center. The bus departs from the Bus Station located on Guild Street. The journey to Balmedie takes about 30 minutes. You will need to disembark at the Balmedie stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the beach. Keep in mind that bus fares are approximately £3.50 for a single journey.

Walking from Balmedie Village
If you find yourself in Balmedie Village, it's a pleasant walk to the beach which takes around 20 minutes. From the village, head east down Balmedie Road until you reach the beach access point. The path is well-marked, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views along the way.
