Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards Aberdeen city center. From the A90, take the exit for the A92 towards Aberdeen. Follow signs for the city center and then for the A944. Once you reach the A944, continue until you see signs for 'West End' and 'Gordon Highlanders Museum'. The museum is located at St. Luke's, Viewfield Rd, Aberdeen AB15 7XH. There is a parking area available at the museum, but be aware that parking may incur a fee.

• Public Transport - Bus

  For public transportation, take a bus to Aberdeen city center. Once you arrive at the main bus station, look for bus services 3 or 4, which head towards the West End. Get off at the stop near the museum, which is on Viewfield Road. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Please check the local bus timetable for the latest schedules.

• Public Transport - Train

  If you are arriving by train, take a train to Aberdeen Station. From there, you can either take a taxi directly to The Gordon Highlanders Museum or catch a bus as described above. The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes and will cost around £10-£15. Alternatively, use the bus services available at the bus station nearby.

• Walking

  If you are staying in the vicinity of the city center and prefer walking, The Gordon Highlanders Museum is about a 25-30 minute walk from the city center. Head west on Union Street, then continue onto Holburn Street. Follow the road until you reach the junction with the A944. Turn left onto the A944, and you will find the museum on Viewfield Road. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk includes some inclines.
