If you are traveling by car, head towards Ballachulish from any point in Argyllshire. The main route is to take the A82 road heading north. When you reach Ballachulish, look for signs directing you to Glencoe Lochan, which is located just off the A82. There is a small car park available at the entrance to the trail. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so keep some change handy.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, you can take the West Coast Motors bus service from Fort William or Inverness to Ballachulish. Check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Ballachulish bus stop, the Glencoe Lochan Trail is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head towards the A82 and follow the signs for Glencoe Lochan. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk involves some uneven terrain.

Walking from Ballachulish
If you find yourself in Ballachulish, and prefer not to use a car or bus, you can walk to Glencoe Lochan. Starting from the center of Ballachulish, head north on the A82 for about 1 mile. Look for the trail entrance on your left. The path is well-marked, and the scenic views along the way make for a pleasant stroll.
