Starting from the town of Ballachulish, head southwest on the A82 road towards Fort William. After approximately 1 mile, look for a small car park on your right side near the foot of The Pap of Glencoe. This car park serves as a starting point for the hike. Make sure to arrive early to secure a parking spot, as it can fill up quickly, especially during peak tourist seasons. There are no parking fees.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, take a bus from Fort William to Ballachulish. The West Coast Motors bus service (Route 41) operates between these two locations. Check the schedule on the West Coast Motors website for the latest timings. Once you arrive at Ballachulish, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile southwest along the A82 to reach the car park at the foot of The Pap of Glencoe. The bus fare is typically around £5-£8 for a one-way trip.

If you are already in Ballachulish, you can walk to The Pap of Glencoe. From the center of Ballachulish, head south on the A82. After about 1 mile, you will see the car park on your right side. From the car park, the trailhead for the hike to The Pap is well-marked. It is a steep but rewarding hike, so ensure you have appropriate footwear and clothing.
