If you're driving to Auchindrain Historic Township from Inveraray, start by heading north on A83. Continue for about 3 miles until you see signs for Auchindrain. Turn left onto the B836 road toward Auchindrain. Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the township, which is located on your right. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Auchindrain Historic Township using public transportation, take a bus from Inveraray to Auchindrain. The bus service operates several times a day. You can catch the bus from the main bus stop in Inveraray. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Auchindrain stop, it is a short walk (about 5 minutes) to reach the entrance of the Historic Township. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited, especially on weekends.

If you're staying in Inveraray and prefer to walk to Auchindrain, it's about a 1.5-mile walk. Start by heading north on Main Street, and continue onto A83. Follow the same route as the car directions for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the township. Please wear comfortable shoes as the path can be uneven.
