Car
If you are driving from central Cardiff, head north on the A470. Continue straight on the A470 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the exit for the A4054 towards Tongwynlais. Take the exit and merge onto the A4054. Follow this road for about half a mile, then turn left onto Castle Road. Castell Coch will be on your left after a short drive. There is parking available on-site.

From Cardiff Central Station, take the train heading towards Treforest or Aberdare. Get off at the Taffs Well station, which is about a 15-minute ride. Once you arrive at Taffs Well, exit the station and walk towards the A4054. Turn left and continue walking for about 20 minutes, or you can catch a local bus from the station that goes directly to Castell Coch. The bus stop is just a short walk from the station.

If you are already in the village of Tongwynlais, you can walk to Castell Coch easily. Head towards Castle Road from the village center and follow it straight up the hill. The castle will become visible as you approach, and the walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
