Car
If you are driving, from the center of Aviemore, follow the A95 road towards Grantown-on-Spey. After about 1 mile, turn left onto the B970 road. Continue on this road, following signs for Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. The entrance is located on your right-hand side after approximately 2 miles. Parking is available at the reserve entrance, but be aware that some areas may charge for parking, so check for signs.

Public Transportation
For public transport, take a bus from Aviemore to Grantown-on-Spey. Buses are operated by Stagecoach and usually run every hour. Get off at the stop closest to the B970 road. From there, it is about a 30-minute walk to the entrance of Craigellachie National Nature Reserve. Follow the B970 road until you reach the entrance on your right. Ensure to check the latest bus schedules as they may vary.

If you are staying in Aviemore and prefer to walk, you can take the same route as described for public transportation. The walk is approximately 2.5 miles and will take you about 45 minutes to an hour. Start by heading east on the A95, then turn onto the B970 road.
