    From Inverness, head to the Inverness Bus Station located at 5, Margaret Street, Inverness IV1 1LT. There are regular bus services operated by Stagecoach that go to Aviemore. Look for the bus number 31 or 32, which will take you directly to Aviemore. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Aviemore, get off at the main bus stop.

You will pass the entrance to Rothiemurchus Estate on your left. Look for the signboards indicating Loch an Eilein. Follow the signs and paths that lead to the loch.
