Car
From central Cambridge, take the A14 road heading west. Continue on the A14 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction for the A142. Merge onto the A142 towards Chatteris. After about 5 miles, take the exit for the A141 towards Ramsey. Continue on the A141 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the B1090. Follow the B1090 for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Heights Drove Road. Holme Fen National Nature Reserve will be on your right. There is free parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
From Cambridge city center, take a train from Cambridge Station to Peterborough. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From Peterborough, transfer to the bus service (Peterborough to Ramsey) which runs regularly. Alight at the 'Ramsey' stop. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Holme Fen National Nature Reserve, which is approximately a 3-mile walk along the B1090. Note: Train and bus fares will vary, so check the current prices online before your journey.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Cambridge and follow a similar route as by car. Start on the A14, then take the A142 and A141 as described above. There are dedicated bike paths along some parts of these roads, but be cautious of traffic. The total distance is around 14 miles from Cambridge to Holme Fen. Upon arrival, there are bike racks available for parking.
