Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Huntingdon town center and head southeast on the A141. After about 3 miles, merge onto the A1(M) towards Peterborough. Continue on the A1 for approximately 10 miles, then take the exit toward A1139. Follow signs for Peterborough and merge onto the A1139. After about 3 miles, take the exit for A47 toward the city center. Continue onto Thorpe Road (A47) for about 1.5 miles. Longthorpe Tower will be on your left at Thorpe Rd, Peterborough PE3 6LU. Parking is available nearby, but check for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you prefer public transport, take a train from Huntingdon Station to Peterborough Station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Peterborough, exit the station and catch the number 30 bus towards 'Thorpe Road'. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Longthorpe Tower, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Ensure you have your fare ready; a single bus ticket costs around £2.50.

  Alternatively, you can take a direct bus from Huntingdon to Peterborough, such as the Stagecoach 66 service. The bus journey typically takes about 40-50 minutes. Once you reach Peterborough, follow the same instructions as above to catch the number 30 bus towards Thorpe Road.
