Getting There

    From Castle Hill, head southeast on Castle Hill towards the roundabout. Continue straight to follow Castle Hill, which becomes Castle Street. This will lead you directly to the Museum of Cambridge located at 2-3 Castle St, Cambridge CB3 0AQ. The walk is approximately 15 minutes and is about 0.7 miles long.

    If you prefer taking public transport, you can catch the bus from Castle Hill. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Castle Hill (near the junction with Girton Road). Take Bus number 1 or 8 towards the city centre. Get off at the 'St Andrew's Street' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Museum of Cambridge. Head south on St Andrew's Street, turn left onto Pembroke Street, and then right onto Castle Street. The museum will be on your right. Please note that a single bus ticket costs around £2.50.
