    From Cardiff city centre, head to the bus stop at Central Station. Look for the number 26 or 30 bus towards Caerphilly. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the stop named Castle Street, which is just a short walk from Caerphilly Castle. Follow the signs pointing towards the castle, and you will see it in a few minutes.

    If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from Cardiff city centre and head north towards the A469 (Cynon Road). It’s a distance of about 7 miles, which will take approximately 2-3 hours on foot. Follow the footpaths along the A469, and as you approach Caerphilly, you will see the castle on your left, just off Castle Street.
