Bus
From Cardiff city centre, head to the Cardiff Central Bus Station. Take the number 32 or 36 bus towards St Fagans. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the St Fagans Museum stop, which is right outside the entrance to St Fagans Castle. Once you disembark, walk towards the entrance of the museum, and you'll see the castle within the grounds.

From Cardiff Central Station, take a train towards Radyr or Treforest. Get off at the Danescourt station (approximately a 10-minute ride). From Danescourt station, exit and walk along the road towards St Fagans. Follow the signs for St Fagans, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. You will eventually reach the entrance to St Fagans Museum, where St Fagans Castle is located.

If you are near Cardiff city centre, you can choose to walk to St Fagans Castle. Start at the Cardiff Castle and head west along Castle Street. Continue onto Cowbridge Road East, then take a left onto the A4161. Follow the road as it bends and becomes the A48. Walk straight for about 3 miles until you reach the St Fagans Museum entrance. This route will take approximately an hour, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the sights along the way.
